Question by Alaska: Disneyworld – stay onsite or off?
Hi there,
We are planning a 7 day vacation to Florida at the end of next month. We’ve never been to Disneyworld, and would love to take our 2.5 year old to see Mickey. We’re having trouble deciding where to stay for our time there. When I conduct a google search, I’m overwhelmed with the options that are presented. We can stay onsite, and pay $ 300 a night – but we don’t have a private pool….and if we get sick of it, there is no escape. Or, we can stay offsite – there are some great places 10 minutes away – but then we’ll have to pay parking etc. We don’t know what to do, and would love some advice on the pros and cons of each choice. We would prefer to have our own private pool, but know that staying onsite will be really convenient. The costs will be a deciding factor too. Even though staying offsite is cheaper, we’ll have to pay for a rental car and parking so it might not be cheaper when you factor in all of the additional costs.
Can anyone help me here?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you everyone for your great responses so far! BY ‘private pool’, I mean private. As in, no other people. A private house, with a private pool. Not a big pool that is used by 500 other people each day.

Question by : How much money does one spend at disneyworld?
My family and I are planning to spend 1 day (no nights) at Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Fl. We have many questions.. How much does admission cost? What are the other expenses are there and how much are they? How much you think my family (4 people) would spend as a whole?
Best answer:
Answer by Tanya Have you looked on the DisneyWorld site? It has admission prices listed!
Also 1-day there given there are 4 parks (+ 2 water parks) seems a little ridiculous, I spent 3 nights/4days there 2-years ago and don’t feel that was enough time.
Your other costs are food, transport, photos, souvenirs… which really will vary…
Video I shot of The Seas with Nemo and Friends during our Family vacation, February 2010. This used to be called The Living Seas a few years ago. I did not record the actual ride itself because I thought it was to dark but I did go around to all the Aquariums and got some good footage of the actual Sea Life! My favorites were the Sea Horses and the Turtle that came right to me as I was filming. Question by DisneyFreakk: What are some helpful tips for a teen visitng Disney World?
I am 14 years old. I am just want some tips about disney world because I am going in November. Tips like what rides to ride, were to meet characters, what to pack, what will the weather be like. Any tips will help. Oh and are Disney Pass is for 10 days it is not a park hopper but it does have the water park pass on it.

Answer by The Cheshire The first thing I can say for someone who is 14 is do not worry about acting like a fool and do not worry about your parents acting like a fool. That is half the fun of disney is being able to be a kid and NO ONE CARES. Wear ears, eat silly ice cream, ride kiddy rides, take photos with characters. One of the best rides we went on was designed for kids (toy story in hollywood studios), so do not be afraid to try different things.
Disney is one of those places where you do not have to worry about who is looking or who is being silly because everyone does it. I am in my 30s and I would stand in line with kids (and adults) just to get my photo taken with Baloo from Jungle Book.
I know at 14 it can be tough but please keep it in mind.
In november it will still be semi-warm but it does get chilly at night so be sure to bring a jacket or sweatshirt. If you are one of those people who get cold easy you might even be ok in jeans and a tee shirt or tank top (for the day).
With meeting characters they are all over all of the parks but they also have meet stations that run in various times during the day. When you get a map it will give you the times and locations of those spots.
